Hearts of Mercy is a nonprofit organization that provides support, care and guidance in the lives of underserved children in the Barnegat and Manahawkin communities. They provide tutoring, mentoring, access to sports and enrichment throughout the academic year as well as summer camp. With these opportunities, they expose their students to new people, places, and experiences that aid in positive growth and development.

Heifer International’s Mission involves working to end hunger and poverty in partnership with the communities they serve. Since 2012, Heifer has provided more than 10 million families with a pathway to sustainable income.
 
It begins with a seed investment of livestock or agriculture, followed by mentorship to help project participants build a business, and ultimately to gain access to supply chains and markets.
 
These families are able to earn a living income and continuously lift up their communities as they train the next generation of leaders.
